Women’s University College of Education, Kodaikanal is a Constituent College of Mother Teresa Women’s University, the only Women’s University, in Tamil Nadu, situated at Kodaikanal, a Hill station in Palani Hills and it is a boon for the socially and economically underprivileged candidates who have teaching attitude and aptitude.
The B.Ed college came into existence on October 2006 with NCTE approval No. FSRO: 7311, dated 30-08-2006.We have received permanent affiliation from NCTE on 29.03.2011. It strives to educate, enhance and empower student teachers through its best principles and practices. Another salient feature of the Women’s University College of Education is, it flourishes with the pedagogical and research support continuously from the Department of Education of Mother Teresa Women’s University which has been functioning since 1985, from the time of the inception of the University.
